Charley -- quit bowing to the office! It's just another politician who doesn't really give a damn what happens to you -- unless you belong to the same fraternity -- and I don't mean the kind with Greek letters.

. . . I'm talking about a grown man in public holding up a sign that says I LOVE BUSH. You don't get it, do you??

I got over making fun of peoples' names in Junior High School. That was long enough ago that I had forgotten that adults, pretending to be either serious, or funny, would engage in that exercise to denegrate the President of the United States of America.

We can only hope that Charley's comment was meant as political satire. Because if he is serious and reflects how voters cogitate before going to the polls.. oh me....

[John Ryle stole my idea :-) I was going to write "Perhaps the fellow was referring to no one in particular," but now I won't, even though I just did.]

Come on, is that Texas Delegate being punked or winning a bet.

The comment exhibits the general lack of knowledge of who lives in our country. The attire that you are making fun of is nothing athat could not be seen at a friday night football game in Texas. Or at any rodeo. Perhaps at any country music show.

You may not find it appealing for your personal wardrobe - that is no reason for you to try to make fun of it in order to try to denigrate Republicans for being inclusive.

The omission of similar links to the attire of the Democrats at that convention must mean that you found everything worn by those people as acceptable.
