Hey.... Love the moron trivia on Glenn Beck! Never have heard in all 26 years of my young life a better radio Talk show. I think he should have a late night Tv show. Of course when I say Late night I mean 10pm. Can't stay up longer then that. I always fall asleep around 11pm and have tried, really have tried but my brain falls asleep at that time. Of course if Glenn Beck was on at 11pm I'd drink coffee or something.......

Mor(e)on Trivia is a segment done on the Glenn Beck Program in conjunction with the football season. NFL Football is a big part of many lives and Glenn and Stu bring it to the listeners in a completely unique way.

Glenn is a self-professed could-care-less-about-football kind of person. But to make things interesting Mor(e)on Trivia brings comedy to our radios. During the season, mostly on Fridays, calls are made to convenient stores in the cities where each team is from to speak to a "Shelf Replenishment Engineer".

Each city it pitted against the other. Four questions are asked per quarter. The question range from politics to "What color is the sky?" Points are made each quarter and the city with the most points indicates the show's pick for the game in question.

The rules, as far as we can determine are as follows:

    * The person who answers the phone has to answer the questions.
    * There are four questions, if they don't know the answer, just guess. "It's no big deal."
    * They cannot ask for help, they lose that question.
    * If they hang up the phone, they forfeit the quarter.
    * If a hint is given to one city, the same hint should be given to the other.
    * If listeners determine a flag on the field they can call in.
    * If there is a tie, we go into sudden death in which a listener calls up, he/she chooses "Foreign or Domestic" and then they call a store. If the person who answers matches the description of the listener's choice, the point is awarded to the appropriate team.

OK…so it’s not listeners. It wasn’t clear on the show itself. I’ll edit it out…

here’s what is now missing:

I was listening to a lesser talk show character, right-winger Glenn Beck who was doing a schtick on his show called Moron Trivia where he asked simple questions of listeners such as “What’s the Capitol of the United States of America?” This is like Jay Lenos “Jaywalking.” People wouldn’t know the answer and he thought it was hilarious. I’m asking myself, “Does this guy understand that his audience members are dunces and he may be part of the reason!?!?” It was weird.

Maybe if you had actually paid attention, you would have realized that the contestants on Moron Trivia aren't Glenn's listeners. They're random convenience store clerks. You can find out how the game is played here.

But hey, props on the "conservatives make people stupid" rant.

The Herald seems to agree with John, regarding the wardrobe malfuction fine - in the article he links. (Maybe that's why he linked to it?)

#1 on their list of "Leaning Left" media -
CBS and "60 Minutes'': If the $550,000 Janet Jackson-inspired fine by a Republican-led Federal Communications Commission wasn't the giveaway, Dan Rather's recent dead-wrong "scoop'' about Bush's National Guard days cinched it.
