Good to see our local government's mishaps on here. Thanks to the Station fire, we now basically have the strictest fire code in the world. If a bunch of hippies got together to play some tunes and people wanted to watch them, a fire marshall would have to be called in (and pain by you, not the government) to ensure everything was safe for the night. One of many rather ridiculous new rules which almost everybody is breaking. Anyway, the tree did indeed die a fast death. Now they are saying it is ok to have the tree without the chemicals so long as a sufficient amount of fire extinguishers are on hand. This is what happens when ill informed midlevel supervisors makes a decision because no upper level supervisors wants to assume the responsibility for a decision.
