This is what's so hilarious about languages. Although in portuguese the work you're looking for is cona, Kona is a native hawaiian name, as well as the name of one of its islands.

Now, if you get into dialects or nuances inside a language, that's even better. Speaking of cona, let's make a competition to see who can say at least three different uses of the word concha in spanish. You'll win a photo of site admin throwing the origami violently to the ground when it ran out of batteries waiting for it to boot.

Well, actually...

I´m Portuguese, but these posts are, i´m sure, from brazilian origin.
BTW Portugal is to Brazil, like England is to USA.

Farto means specifically plenty. It can be used as an adjective like that.
So it can mean, depending of context, satisfied, fed up, etc...
Like, "I had plenty of...food, trouble, money...".

But, speaking of funny english translation, your hi-end Kona video cards always give me a laugh...
(someone tell this post why...)

To all our Portuguese friends, thank you for your interpretation.

To all English readers, ha ha ha. That is one way to be satisfied.

It can means tired, wealthy or satiated in portuguese, not what you're thinking. :)
