		<description>Progress can go the wrong direction; I remember in my youth that commercials touted whiskey and cigarettes, with nary a damned Kotex in sight. Some thing is wrong with the way that all turned out. As an aging, life long batchelor, I haven&#039;t really been exposed to the mechanics of the things, and really, never even thought about it. But recently someone left an unopened box of them in the office, and I &quot;reverse engineered&quot; one, taking it apart to see how it worked. Clever little design, no doubt, but that string thing bothers me.</description>
