New Barabus Supposedly World’s Fastest Car
The Bugatti Veyron may no longer be the world’s fastest car. Today — following a number of teasers and leaks — Barabus officially unveiled the TKR: a new 1005 horsepower supercar the automaker says is capable of doing zero to 60 mph in 1.67 seconds. What’s more, the car reportedly has a top speed of 270 mph — nearly 20 more than the Veyron. Power comes from a 6.0 liter V8 twin-turbocharged with dual intercoolers. The car has a full carbon fibre body and chassis. Further details remain sparse, but the automaker says it will sell the car for £360,000, which should translate to around $500,000, using typical automotive market conversion rates.

All of you have no idea as to what your talking about. The guy that said it cant be faster than a mclaren f1 is looking at technology from like the mid ninetys good one whoever you are. firstly none of it is bullshit. the car is easily capable of it and is engineered to do so. It may take racing slicks and a tacky road surface AKA proper drag strip but its not impossible. Also supra kid your car isnt that fast. i used to own a supra u cant get the 0-60 under 4 unless you ahve access to the stuff the trd race team does… and as far as your quarter mile goes you arent going to beat it unless you have installed over $80k in parts and thats not a joke. i had a hks gt2835 twin turbo set as well as a f con v and bored it out to 3.4 liters and even then you cant get a supra to break 10 seconds. my best run was an 11.7… mine had around 650 whp and you cant get much higher than that and expect to maintain grip even with slicks. theres many that break 10 and a few that have reached the goal of 9s and a couple in the 8s but your supra has nothing on the barabus. lets see the car that was the fastest car in the world two cars ago the koenigsegg ccr has a standing quarter mile of 9 seconds good luck beating that. to the rest of you that think the car cant maintain grip it can. it was built to do that… just like any other car the car is built to maintain grip if you floor if that is your intention… obviously if you wanted to you could get the tires spinning as much as you want, but any car that is stock in this world can be floored without having the wheels spun to an extent that would harm the 0-60 time or nething like that… and by the way the stock tires on the barabus are basically slicks so those of you who think the tires cant handle it… they are about as wide as your car and are just as good as any most slicks

i’ve been working in high end exotic car custom shops since i was 11 workin with my dad. the point in which we have advanced to in technology these days, especially with cars, definately makes it possible for a street legal car to break 2 seconds. Also, our shops got polyurathane molds to replicate the tires of the barabus and i agree with whoever wrote the long post that the tires on the barabus can for sure handle the road as well as slicks can, the body of the car hides the actual size of the tires that it is equipped with.
you’ll be lucky if that barabus supercar is faster than the bugatti veyron, the veyron was limited at 250mph it can hit 350 mph. so ha lol

campo, your right, it is limited, but to 251mph, id be suprised if it could hit 350mph, as it would be hugely published, and people would start to delimit them, and be killing themselves off every second, i wouldnt be suprised, though, if the veyron would be capable of 270mph, because if they’d limited it to 251mph, and still be perfectly stable, it must be able to squezze this mear – for a proven hypercar – 19mph

I think looks much better than the Veyron but I cant see it going at that price considering ther Veyron sells for $1million. Even though I like this I still wouldnt want one noone needs that kind of power, particularly when its only the idiots who have too much money drive them and end up crashing like someone has recently done in a Vayron, I’ll just stick with my Vauxhall at least used Vauxhall parts are affordable.
without a doubt, the bugatti veyron is the powerful and elegant car in the world. If you were to say that the new:’ Barabus’ was the fastest car in the world, then why isn’t it all over the world on the news now…and even so, the buggati has much more character to the car and is the state of the art car! lol….and even so it is limited to 250mph on the speedo but it can roughly do round about 273mph….good competitot though lmao!….inabit
