Oh, boy. Another poor soul who misunderstands stem cell research in America. Stem cell research is not banned in the United States. Please, let’s be clear: Federal funding is not allowed on embryonic stem cell research for lines created after August 2001. (Research on lines created prior to 2001 can be federally funded. Furthermore, privately funded research is not restricted). AND there is no restriction on stem cell research from adult lines.
