		<description>1)  I concur, but Sony was BONED because they aint gonna sell 600 dollar game systems in any great numbers.  This is just another nail.

2)  Once administrators get in control, fugetaboutit.  The admin types will ride the remains into the ground while the engineers move on to the next new startup.

Personally, I will wait until I can get a 69 dollar HD type dvd player the day after thanksgiving in about 5 or 6 years.  By then I may have a TV that has a STUPID HDMI connector that will actually allow me to use the damn thing.  Emphasis on MAY.  I aint gonna go buy a NEW $3000 TV just to watch movies in HD.  Regular DVDs look pretty good on my current 50 inch CRT based prejection TV.

BTW, I got a nice DVD recorder for 69 bux last thanksgiving from Walmart.  What a country!
