Lawyers trawling bizarre Stilnox reports – Breaking News – National – Breaking News — The one I like is the sleep “painting” reports.

Product liability lawyers for the firm Slater and Gordon have revealed they are trawling adverse event reports for “a number” of prospective clients affected by the prescription medication.

The move comes as Stilnox complaints to the national drug hotline rose to 500, with fresh reports of sleepwalkers crashing cars, falling off balconies, smoking, painting and having sex after popping a pill.

Partner Tim Hammond confirmed the firm had been approached by several people wanting to take action against pharmaceutical company Sanofi-Aventis.

“At this stage were investigating these inquiries looking at what we can do,” Mr Hammond told AAP.

Can’t sleep either, huh? Bad thing about astronomy, unless you’re a solar physicist, it only happens at night.

Oh my goodness, are you sleeptyping?

  2. Mac Guy says:

For a lot of these people, there’s a simple cure. It’s called “exercise.”

A nice little blue pill isn’t always the answer. Get off your fat, lazy ass and do a little heart therapy. It’ll do ya good.

  3. TJGeezer says:

How long will it take for someone caught pulling a heist or something to mount the Stilnox Defense? “You caught me doing WHAT!? The last thing I remember was taking a sleeping pill…”

#3….TJGeezer….It’s already been done. Congressman Patrick Kennedy, after wrecking his car into a barricade in front of the Capital Building at around 3 A.M., and witnesses and police said he smelled of booze, claimed he was on prescription meds, Ambian and another one. Later his spokesman tried to blame the Ambian(another sleep med that supposedly also leaves people doing strange things without knowing they are doing them(Kennedy claimed later he didn’t remember any of that night). He told the D.C. police he was late for a vote(no votes since 6 hours earlier). He denied being drunk, but a waitress and others said they saw him drinking earlier at a bar not far from the accident scene.
Eventually, he dropped the **Ambian** made me do it defense.
