Blu-ray movies are also available for rent, albeit with very limited choices. OTOH the Xbox never raised my wow factor. The reason that it won't sell (at least here...) is because 599 Euros is a lot of cash. Some people don't make that much a month here. I remember the PS2 also. It came out at arounf 450 Euros. Nowdays you can get a "shrinked" one for 150. Just wait a few months. Or a year. It will (undoubtedly...) surpass xbox and Wii sales combined...
