While they surely don’t need the help, the world’s two richest men can now eat for free at Hooters restaurants. On Friday October 20, 2006 Bill Gates and Warren Buffet were presented with Hooters VIP Cards at a Hooters Restaurant in Kansas City, Kansas. The Cards entitle the gentlemen, who currently rank numbers 1 and 2 on the list of worlds richest, to free food at any of the chains 435 locations in 46 states and 20 countries exclusive of tip and alcohol.
The pair made a stop at the Hooters Restaurant along with members of the Board of Directors for Berkshire Hathaway. The visit came at the request of Buffet so the group could pose for a Christmas Card photo with the chain’s beautiful Hooters girls. “It was an honor to have these powerful individuals dine in my store” said Jason Fetters General manager of the Hooters located at 1712 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas. “Clearly these guys can go anywhere they want to. The fact that they picked Hooters hopefully says something about the strength of our brand.”

#1 – While odds are you are right… There is no data to indicate that all those girls are demonstrably not intelligent.
I’m not sure why Hooter’s gave these guys VIP cards, and don’t really care enough to read the article, although I seem to care enough to write a long rambling post about it, but maybe that’s because I’m bored at work, but I have to assume its to honor these two great men’s philanthropic work. They certainly deserve any and all honors bestowed upon them. All hail these great Americans.
But no one should worry that the two richest guys on Earth are eating for free while the rest of us slobs have to pay for overpriced wings and to ogle 19 year old tits. Do you think these guys are gonna carry those cards in their wallets? Do you think they are frequent customers of Hooters? It’s possible, likely even, that Gates and Buffet will never step foot in a Hooters.
The expression on Buffett’s face says, “Heh, heh…what a day!”
Bill’s expression says, “Oh boy…my wife is gonna kill me when she sees this pic!”
Free food, but not free alcohol. What’s the point of having a VIP card?
I’ve always had a special place in what I’m pleased to refer to as my “heart” for those bozos throughout History who have made it a point to give things away to the very last people who need charity, while blithely ignoring their fellow man who actually is in need.

And education and healthcare are what the Gates Foundation seems to specialize in… as I’m sure you know.
Yes. I also know that the amount that he “gives” is carefully calculated down to the last dollar in order to minimize his tax burden to the maximum extent possible. Were there no tax incentives for charitable giving, I seriously doubt he’d be anywhere near so “generous”. I don’t like the greedy dweeb bastard, no secret there.

Had I never read the article I’d never have know that stopping by was Warren Buffet’s idea and that I was horribly wrong in post #6.
