    I don’t care who posted it. The issue is who promoted it. Dvorak’s name is on the banner and he hypes his blog every time on both his podcast and the Twit podcast. He is responsible for what is on his site.

    OK, OK, it’s a stupid thing to do… but it’s not the big deal it seems, either. 3000 lb. car – 750 lbs. / wheel. 8″ wide tire, contact patch 3″ wide = 750 lbs. distributed over ~25 square inches = 30 PSI exerted on the moran’s arm by a semi-pliant surface. Not really a big deal.

    Maybe, but since there are two bones (radius & ulna) in the forearm and it appears that the arm rolled ninety degrees as the tire passed over it, there is a good chance that one of the bones was broken in this stunt. The bones rolling across each other with 30 PSI of load midway between the wrist and elbow had to hurt like a SOB.

    If his arm hadn’t rolled over, it might have been no big deal. Overall, pretty stupid thing to try.
