But but the ancient people didn’t have concrete floors and streets like he does to move his blocks. Why doesn’t he try the trick with the two little stones on the earth/ mud ground?

One can always build a scaffold or platform to work from.

I corresponded with this guy in the past while doing research. He makes very valid and legitimate points, and can back them up with live demonstrations.

Ever hear of the Coral Castle? There are others who discovered how to move huge stones without heavy equipment.

Ah, the Coral Castle. I visited there years ago before whichever hurricane that was that devastated the area. I always wondered if it was damaged. That place is amazing. This technique would explain how Ed Leedskalnin built it.

No one ever saw how the rocks at Coral Castle were moved, IIRC, so that is an example of exactly nothing.

Not that I blame the guy that built the place for not working while others are watching; “helpful” people who “just wanted to be polite and say Hi”, or who are “just curious” are a pain when I’m trying to do something.

It is an example of moving big blocks of stone with unconventional means. There was no heavy equipment at the site, and neighbors never heard anything unusual during the construction.

He also moved the entire construction to a site miles away, and rebuilt it there.

The example in the video is only one way, there are undoubtedly others. The fact remains that there are massive stone constructions in the world of various ages whose construction defy explanation using current accepted knowledge.

This video depicts one of the possible explanations, and is more plausible than many of the other theories. The guy who built Coral Castle could have used the same techniques or taken a different approach entirely. He did, however, manage to move large stones without heavy machinery.

Regardless of whether or not this technique was used at Stonehenge it’s ingenious.

No equipment _seen_ or heard, in a heavily vegetated area that blocks the view and muffles sound.

What is the claim? What is proven?

No one sees who is raiding the cookie jar, so that means the cookies are evaporating, eh?

People always forget that older races were not stupid – just less technologically advanced. With less technology they were likely more adept at finding solutions to such problems.

The builders of Stonehenge probably had an enormous advantage we don’t have these day. No accountants telling them it can’t be cost justified.
