Spare me the PC outrage crap. The guy has a point about the people make threats against them on that Facebook group, allowing threats of violence and retribution only detracts from their message.
Being tasteless isn’t a crime, threats of violence may very well be -not to mention they also demonstrate a lack of taste as well-.

I see more wrong with the people “Outraged” with this than the people who did it.

It ain’t got shit to do with bad taste, kiddies. Jokes about babies playing with razor blades are about bad taste. This is about being so fucking empty inside as to make sport of the hideous slaughter of other young American college students. When you lack all empathy for other people, especially people like yourselves, you’re a sick, twisted subhuman. For the edification of those of you who see nothing wrong with being stone-cold indifferent to extreme human suffering and senseless violent deaths, that is a bad thing.

Having the idiotic idea that there’s nothing wrong with such behavior is a good indication that you need to take a good long look in the mirror, because you’ve got more in common with the VT murderer than his victims.

Morality is a personal matter, and I can’t find anything wrong with their stunt.

You’re still in love with those insane, completely backward laws that only prevent harmless citizens from having guns and have exactly zero effect on the actions of murderous ones, aren’t you? You should move to DC; the District government there suffers from the precise same mental defect as you.

It’s just a matter of “how soon is too soon”. It’s subjective. Some people move along more quickly than others. If you’re going to do something like this, you better be prepared to take the heat. I think they know what they’re getting into when they did this.

Geez, we are so lame at dealing with death in this culture. It may seem inappropriate, but it’s a way of dealing with the fear and uncertainty that death (especially of someone close to your age) brings up. IT’s a COSTUME. Halloween costumes are either stupid, funny, or explore some fear. Ghoolies, ghosties, monsters, demons..all scare us. So does death. I think they can do that because they have no emotional connection to any of the victims, living or dead. And they have not yet experience death in a personal way that has been meaningful.

I also want to add that we have twins at VT and they were seriously considering Penn State three years ago. I am so pleased they picked VT because if this is the kind of people that attend Penn State I am SOOOOO glad to say my girls are not students there. You have done nothing but put shame in the news about your school. I’ll bet your parents are real proud of you….

You know, I live in the State College community, and I work at Penn State. I feel such a deep sense of shame and sadness with how a few of our students behaved-that Penn State is in the news for something like this. A lot a great things come from Penn State. I sat in the stadium the day of the Blue-White game when tribute was paid to VT. We grieved for them then, and after this, many of us do again. These few students behind this-I’m embarrassed for them. Hopefully, someday, they’ll come around and gain the depth of human character to be embarrassed for themselves.

To not admit this was a tasteless act just makes it that much more sick. We’ve all done stupid things, especially when we were younger, but to not apologize, to try to reason this out as a good thing is just a total lack of class.
Will this guy also defend the freaks that show up at funerals with their signs?
Since he’s homosexual, next year he can show up as the kid that was murdered and tied to that fence in Wyoming.
