CES coming. I prefer to cover the coverage, but will attend.
LG and Netflix send HDTV straight to the TV over the Internet.
Corsair 32GB USB drive is bootable.
I like Lenovo as they bring out new consumer lines.
Hitachi doing 500 GB HD for laptops. Another nail in the desktop coffin.
Plaxo is up for auction.
Apple doing docking station.
IBM sued for a cancer cluster that may date back to 1924. Oops.

Neonode will be there. They say that they’ll be launching the N2 in the U.S.A. in 2008. That will make your long awaited review of the gizmo more interesting to a wider audience.

You can stream HDTV with as little as 3.5mbit/s, check out my HD video-blog at http://techvideoblog.com

around 3.5mbit/s is OK for 720p encoded in Mpeg4 DivX, about 6mbit/s is enough for 1080p using Mpeg4 DivX or H264 encoded videos. Add around 2mbit/s if you want perfectly crisp streaming HD quality. No need for the 30mbit/s banwidth for that.
