I noticed an awful lot of smoke coming out.
Maybe he can snoop around on eBay for an used European TDI Diesel engine, preferably with and exhaust combo. One with 90 BHP should do. Plenty of power, negligible consumption and zero smoke. (of course with the correct exhaust).
