The hunter becomes the hunted…

A HOMELESS man has been accused of posing as a millionaire on a dating website to swindle more than $100,000 from 13 women.

Paul Krueger, 50, allegedly used a laptop to sign up to MillionaireMatch, a dating website that offers “a premium service that caters to professionals with busy lifestyles, including those very successful ones”.
But Mr Krueger, based in Philadelphia, allegedly managed to sign up as a millionaire and pose as a Grammy-award-winning record producer with the username “imreadyru2007″.

He is said to have virtually romanced 13 different women, even boasting to one that he was in Scotland producing Michael Jackson’s new record, ABC local news reported.

Then he allegedly fleeced the women of their money by asking them to invest in his fictional record company.

The women sent money with a total value exceeding $US100,000 ($104,000) to an address in Souderton – the home of Mr Krueger’s ex-wife.

He was arrested last week at a casino in Atlantic City, where he had allegedly spent the victim’s money on his gambling addiction, authorities said.

i love this part the most
    $US100,000 ($104,000)

  2. Mister Mustard says:

Tee hee! Anybody who’s dumb enough to give money to somebody they meet on an on-line dating service (millionaire or not) deserves to lose their money.

The guy’s a scumbag, but the women are dumber than dirt, and the organization responsible for the web site is beyond creepy.

Just more evidence that the End Times are near.

  3. wiglebot says:

The women must be stupid because the site is ripping them @ $40 a month (guilty, checked it out) while the fake millionaires are ripping them too.

  4. Noel says:

How stupid do you have to be to steal $104,000 and still be homeless?

  5. Widgethead says:

#4 it said he had a gambling problem?

  6. Angel H. Wong says:

Now we know that Phds are useless on women.

  7. Todd Henkel says:

Only in America can the homeless have a laptop, login to a subscription dating service, have money wired to his ex (who obviously turns at least some of it over to him) and blow it at the tables.

And only in America can people be stupid enough to wire any amount to someone they don’t know and can’t check up on.

Please say there are people just as dumb outside the USA…

  8. Mister Ketchup says:

God probably told him to do it, or Jeebus,

  9. Lou Minatti says:

Good for him. Did he force these women to give him money? No? Then they deserve it because all THEY saw were dollar signs.

  10. Lou Minatti says:

Ah, never mind. I see that wire fraud may be involved.

  11. it's just an expression says:

Homemore man posts copyrighted material and associates it with someone else’s photo.

  12. Why is he arrested again? says:

I don’t condone what he did but if the women gave him their money willingly then I think they should pay for their stupidity.
