So they think his iPod is a bomb, or some kind of remote device. And what do they do? - they bring him (and his iPod) inside the Whitehouse!! Note to terrorists: if you want to get a bomb inside the Whitehouse, just stand outside and fiddle with your iPod until the secret service give you an escort directly into your target. Boom. So he’s outside the Whitehouse, fiddling with his iPod, and by coincidence a gate nearby opens. So they think his iPod is a bomb, or some kind of remote device.
