A Colorado teenager hired men to kill his mother so he could use her money to get breast implants for his girlfriend, police said.

Nikita Lee Weis, 18, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, said Fountain, Colorado, Deputy Police Chief Mike Barnett. Weis’ mother, Hyun Weis, was attacked Thursday with a small wooden baseball bat at her home but escaped, authorities said. She was released Friday from a hospital.

His girlfriend, Sophia Nicole Alsept, and two men police said he hired, Juan Antonio Velez Gonzalez, 18, and Brandon Michael Soroka, 19, were also arrested on the charge of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

Barnett said Weis wanted to sell his mother’s car and use money in her bank accounts to pay for breast implants for Alsept, 21.

Fountain is about 10 miles south of Colorado Springs.

The kid’s brain is about 10 miles north of nowhere. He has no heart.

#30 “I myself would be hardpressed to claim a decline in literacy when the overall rate is %99.0.”

    God, you’re dense.

    Start here and keep looking.

Sounds like you went to grade school within the last 20 years…

#31–Paddy. THAT is a terrific website. The very first paragraph has so many errors and misstatements to be a standout exceptional example to all students of literacy.

Lets just take the first sentence: “There are no universal definitions and standards of literacy.” The article does not immediately go forward and define literacy, no, it goes forward continuing the fatal flaw thereby allowing it to use whatever definition it wants, even changing the whatever its working defintion is midstream to reach its end goal.

To slightly mash the lunacy of the lead paragraph: Literacy includes 16 year olds who are adults in prison who have graduated from college with significantly lower assessments.

But congratulations. It does all start and end with definitions.

You flunked the literacy test. I said, “Start here and keep looking.”

If you had, you would have seen this in the 3rd sentence of the 1st paragraph; “National Assessment of Adult literacy (NAAL)”.

    http://nces.ed.gov/naal/

I set you up with a test. Your performance should enlighten you as to the problem of adult illiteracy in America.

Anyone want to think that there might be more to the story? I mean, wouldn’t there be warning signs or something in the world that would make the mom believe that her kid was screwy?

I have a hard time believing that everything was peachy keen in that family until the girlfriend wanted new boobs.
