Actually, I recall some McCain supporter or operative saying something like “the last time there were big crowds in Berlin cheering to a political speech was not a good time for the world.” This was so far over the line that it immediately died with no one really making an issue out of it. Seems most were satisfied by the reminder that Kennedy had done the same.

Political Parties===any reason at all to listen to them regarding elections?

Slander or off topic rant? A rhetorical question itz. Video was funny. I would feel better if the election was between Mike Huckabee and AL Gore. I don think we would have videos like this in reference to this election.

I thought it was well done. Yes, using Hitler is extreme, but I kept picturing a Dick Cheney type figure in the role and it fit much better.

As I say that though, I must caution that McCain is not the maniacal figure Hitler represents. His buddy Dick Cheney might be, but that is a different story. This might be a low blow, but it is still far better satire than many of the Republican comments about Obama.

#2 – That’s standard operating procedure of the media in general. The 45 days leading up to the election are actually pretty boring, and a lot of non-news gets elevated to end-of-the-world hype because that’s the mindset.

Should put the financial situation in focus, too.
