10 worst ads of the campaign season

Politico asked campaign operatives on both sides to nominate their favorite commercials of the cycle — and by favorite, we mean the most memorably bad.

This was a bipartisan exercise. Offered anonymity, some Democrats nominated Democratic ads and some Republicans chose GOP ads.

Ineptitude, as we discovered, knows no party.

Availability of some of these come and go as the individuals and parties in question try to yank the ads off YouTube.

hello. is there anyway that the html links for videos can be posted too? The only net connection that I have is my non-flash using iphone and we can’t see the videos but with a link we could Please?

Well, Politico is a memorably bad website, so they should definitely know their stuff. I really shouldn’t judge so quickly, but I don’t have all day to wait for the page, which hasn’t loaded yet, to finish its nonstop continuous refreshing cycle. Call me old fashioned, but I like a bit of content with my intarwebs.

As an Alaskan voter this commercial speaks to me… She has experience cleaning up crap… she was running against Don Young… Running on the same ticket as Palin and Ted Stevens. There is more than enough crap to clean up in Alaska Politics. She was one of the few who had skin in the Sand box, Her son was injured by a roadside bomb in Iraq… Not big on bull, but big on Vet’s rights, and our responsibility to them after they come home.
