An update to the “My dog ate my homework” excuse, is this “My dog peed on my laptop, and I lost my homework files”. Actually, I’m pretty sure that most of today’s laptops have a liquid barrier, just beneath the keyboard. So spills of all kinds rarely do any harm. And small dogs don’t climb up on tabletops to pee. It’s staged.
