Hey four years ago the liberal media was filled with stories about the excess of Bush’s inauguration parties, spending a hundred million dollars while America was at war and had a deficit. I’m sure they’re going to run the same stories now right? And liberals are just as angry about these parties too right?

I’ll be very surprised if any suicide bombers are able to penetrate the vast security net that will be in place. Washington DC has the Metropolitan Police, the National Park Police, the Federal Protective Service, the Secret Service, the FBI, the Postal Inspectors, the Washington Area Transit Authority Police, the Housing and Urban Development Police, military police (Army, Navy and Air Force)and all of the various police forces of the adjoining juristictions. Anyone who has ever had their daily commute interrupted by a presidential motorcade can attest to the fact that there may be more police in Washington than citizens.

And there will be checkpoints.

Yeah, it would be prime pickings for suicide bombers. I wouldn’t be surprised to see several of them set themselves off in the crowd just as Obama starts his speech. And, NO, I don’t know that that IS going to happen, but if Hollywood was doing a fictional movie on such an event, that’s exactly the time they’d choose. It’s just common sense. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near DC on inauguration day.
