Jake Shimabukuro and his ukulele version of a Beatles classic
14-year old interviews John Lennon

Every day is Beatles Day since they first made their appearance in the US in 1964. Why would this day be any different?
Jake Shimabukuro and his ukulele version of a Beatles classic is better than George himself.
I believe Mr. Harrison would approve.
Definitely one of the cooler versions of the sng out there.
The animation the John Lennon interview is insanely great
#1 Floyd, I doubt that I’m the only greying Brit who would say it began a good year earlier.
Personally I’d say January 1963 with the release of ‘Please Please Me’, although I wouldn’t disagree too much with anyone who wanted to go back to the release of ‘Love me do’ the previous October.
And for the nit-pickers I know ‘My Bonnie’ came out before that but it didn’t make any impression on me then or later.
Nice rendition, but on a ukelele? Something is just not right.
Here’s hoping Mr Shimabukuro doesn’t run afoul of the intellectual property Nazis. I call Fair Use. He was in a public place and it was captured on You-biqui-Tube.
The best version I’ve heard was played in a T-station on a violin.
