I see no Constitutional provision that allows the government to divert military resources (NORAD) to looking for a mythical man flying around in a sleigh.
NORAD is there to warn us of nuclear missile attacks. What if we are attacked when we are tracking Santa instead of ICBMs?
Hey… we are in the 6th (or is it 7 now?) year of a war costing billions of dollars all based on a mythical weapons program. So really, this is nothing.
I once worked at the Cheyenne Mountain /NORAD complex in Colorado Springs. I do believe they are better at tracking this imaginary elf than any thing else they are tasked with doing.

But you cannot observe Santa by any means since he is a macroscopic quantum object and any direct observation will change his state. I demand that NORAD turn off its radar NOW!

According to 9 News (KUSA Denver) morning anchor Gary Shapiro, this started in the 1950s because of a misprint on an ad for a Santa hotline. The number rang at NORAD and the airman who answered played along. It became a tradition.
Now I’d bet there’s a whole “Santa Tracking” committee.
Lame. Use my tax dollars for something useful, like building ICBM’s

Tried to get an alternative to this NORAD site for my kids this year. The videos are so dated now it’s embarrassing.
