that was done in Argentina, I live there and you can see that the first sequence is drawn in an abandoned power station in Colegiales. The rest, I can't figure out why didn't they get stopped.
Amazing kind of art (and a lot of free time, of course!)

#14--hhopper==well, I gave a two part definition of art. Cartoons do not become "art" just because they are presented on a building or brick wall. You also seem to confuse "art" with "crafts." Both often require a great amount of work==thats called being labor intensive, like building the Panama Canal==again, "not art."

Perhaps I am being too restrictive, too judgmental. Perhaps art is anything anyone takes it to be. How about cows cut in half and floating in formaldehyde? Thats labor intensive. How about 300 wooden matches spread on a plastic tarp? Thats not labor intensive. Both sell for 100's of $1000 Dollars.

I see I have lost this argument. Another day at DU.

An amazing piece of video... and yes Bobbo, it's art. Just because you found it boring doesn't mean it's not art. The artist put an incredible amount of work into it.

Some people clearly have more patience than I have.

Kind of gives me a headache watching the lousy camera work. Maybe they should have done this "art" on the side of their own damn house. And whoever said drugs affect your brain? The "artists" would be helping us out if they all went out and got a job slinging coffee beans, and eased up on inhaling spray paint fumes.

Anybody care to state what this cartoon "means?" A bit repetitive. Fun to watch the shadows. Some sequences took an afternoon, some a few days.

The purpose of (high) art is to illuminate the human condition. The purpose of (low) art is to amuse and distract.

After 2 minutes, it was boring.

Not art.
