Oops! As it turns out, it is some Union pukes making it up. The exact same uniforms are used by countless others with NO problem. And, testing shows lower than required chemicals in the material.

What lovely people, pictured above. How come they don’t resemble the 350 pound cretins waddling around the xray machine dropping donut crumbs from their chins into my carry-on? I truly believe TSA has a strict hiring policy that precludes high school graduates and/or IQs above 80. Rolls of fat lolling over the belt is optional but an advantage.

Your desire to blame a union for something usually flies in the face of reality. Far from being a false accusation, many shirts are so loaded with chemicals from the manufacturing process that they must be washed first. Not all, but many. Many people end up reacting to the skin contact.

This is most likely a case of the lowest bidder getting the contract.

While washing may be preferable, and I wash ALL my clothes before wearing them for the first time, it is not always a possibility. I guess your old Mall Rent-A-Cop uniform wasn’t made in China.

Dumb asses should WASH the crap BEFORE wearing, simple as that.

I have two relatives in TSA they wash new stuff before wearing and have no problems. Of course they are of average human intelligence working part time after retirement, so they are not the typical dumbass TSA agents.
