The contamination was only in the "creamy" variety of the peanut butter, which has been recalled. Chunky does not seem to be affected. Only pussies eat creamy peanut butter.

It's a great way for the hospitals and schools to not take responsibility for leaving opened jars unrefrigerated which go rancid. And speaking of that missing peanut oil, there's also that "healthy" oil problem I just can't seem to get a handle on. I am searching the world for Canola seeds and just can't find them anywhere. ECA do you have any clues where to find those? I hear Canola is a very healthy plant oil. It's not? Hey, what do you bring up "rape" for? What does "rape" have to do with what happens to consumers on a daily basis? Shutuuuuppp!! My peanut butter is made with rape? Stop joking. What do you mean you're not joking?

Hey, it's only kids and hospitals - no big deal.

Or, as seen in the newspapers some time ago:

"Chemical Spill Causes Massive Fish Die Off - Government Says Water Safe To Drink."

Kids are probably full of shit anyway, eating McDonalds 24/7. This can only help when you think about it.

Also, I love the name "King Nut Companies".

QUOTE:
The strain of salmonella has been identified as Salmonella Typhimurium, the most common of the more than 2,500 types of salmonella bacteria in the United States. It's often found in uncooked eggs and meats, said officials with the CDC, who have been investigating the outbreak for several weeks.

Hmm,
I see info on peanut oil and Botulism, but NOT salmonella..
HOW can it have salmonella?
UNLESS they took out the peanut OIL to sell for a HIGHER PRICE, and substituted ANOTHER OIL.
