I fail to understand why anybody being checked by the USA police are automatically hand cuffed? And they are being questioned and checked for so much of the mundane, i.e. public arguments, riding on footpath, truancy, failed vehicle light, and the list goes on. In a civilised world these are mere annoyances, not something to be arrested/handcuffed over.
Here, Aus., you actually have had to do something criminal before the handcuffs come out, and then only if there is a perceived flight risk.
I just do not know why people would want to migrate from here to the USA, obviously Australia has far more freedom/s than over there.
