    Seems WAY too expensive to me. Bezos said it was justified by the cutting edge 16 shade grey scale ((don’t believe that at all)) and the wireless technology.

    I don’t think “anybody” needs to be able to download a book in 60 seconds anywhere. Updating different hardware you own will be nice for 1% of buyers?

    No, seems to me the customer is paying for some kind of secret drm controls. I will NEVER buy anything that is locked down like this. Better to buy an ebook and read it on an open platform. Not clear to me how you “back up” your purchase, but I’ll guess with the corporate support behind this you just order a duplicate from Amazon? Not much good after the Revolution.

    DRM means they screw you now and then screw you again later when they shut down the DRM servers because no one is buying their DRM’d crap. I purchase NOTHING with DRM.
