This just gets better and better and NBC seems to be giving Cramer a lot of air time on every show and now hosts like that pinch-mouthed dummy Scarborough are chiming in. He must be hoping to get trashed for the PR value. They should just drop it and leave Stewart alone before he starts to dig deeper into the trash. Now I hear that Cramer may be on Stewart’s Thursday show. Canadians who cannot view these videos can go to thecomedynetwork.ca

I didn’t know about Jim Cramer until I saw the bit on the Daily Show. But the thing is, I recognized him from the IronMan movie playing himself doing the same thing he does normally, which I thought at the time I was watching the movie, was an exaggerated bit from a real guy.

I hope Stewart gets a hold of this

were Cramer admits to manipulating the market on The Street. Might want to download it cause I have a feeling it will get pulled.

#5 “Stewart is a left wing hard core leftist”

Hes left of left? Thats pretty far left!

Sheesh talk about getting hysterical over Stewart. Sure, hes unashamedly a Democrat and a liberal and there is a definite Democrat bias in his work, but hes nowhere near as feral as someone on the other side like Limbaugh, and he generally gets his facts right.

How soon we forget Crossfire on CNN. Maybe Stewart will have the same effect…

It is REALLY depressing that the most reliable “news” is on a COMEDY channel… USA! USA!

    Bravo boys…

    Or sometimes this blog.

Actually the funny thing is that he seems more INTERESTED in what’s happening than many of the journalists out there. Yes he’s liberal but he doesn’t pretend to be impartial (like Bill Moyer, etc.)…It’s a fun show about news and I don’t see him as being a mouthpiece or propagandist for the left, unlike ‘journalists’ George Stephanopolist, etc…Jon presents what he likes, puts a smart twist on it, and it’s amusing. Clever, but not a mean guy.

As for Cramer, he’s no worse (or as worse) as the guys on Wall Street who were telling people to buy X, Y, and Z. Generally if one of these financial groups is telling you to do something, do something different. It’s market manipulation, with only certain people at the top being positioned to benefit. Wasn’t there a short piece somewhere about how last year’s financial crash was in part precipitated by a $550 billion run on the banks or?…I’ll have to look that one up later.

Maybe it is the cynic in me, but I wonder if it is possible that this tempest in a teapot is a publicity stunt. Cramer appears on Stewart’s show, says sorry for a miserable call in hindsight, and then whips out a new book (maybe about his worst blunders and what he learned from them). Stewart gets bigger ratings, especially among the more coveted demographics. Everybody goes home happy.
