John:
One word: KICKASS!!!!!!!!
Today, with all the crap falling all over all of us from all over the place, this video makes me think life is still worth living.
Thank you.
The “Baaa-studs”. Perfect.
Meh. I’m betting on CGI.
Although this video has been out for a while, it’s worth seeing again, CGI or not it’s a neat idea…
A feel good moment! I do not know enough about CGI to comment on that possibility. Does anyone really know?
I have two sheep…wonder what I can do…

Binary?
J/P=?
I friend of mine knows the shepards (they are all from Powys in Wales I believe), apparently it is all real, although edited to look more continuous than it is ….

I asked our ewes, they said it’s real. The rams say nah, it’ CG. Personally I think there is a little manipulation going on beyond editing. But fun? YES!
Not Baaaahhhhhhhd….
If CGI, it took lots of RAM to do!
Very cool. Thanks !
For some reason I feel like watching Brokeback Mountain again (4th time).

Generally speaking:
If it’s actual video footage that is sped up, the motion will look slightly jerky, slightly off. The sped up portions of that video are too smooth. That’s why I think CGI.
There’s typically two types of CGI. Stuff that’s done poorly/cheaply and looks it, or stuff that’s overdone so much we know it’s fake. Stuff that hits the subtle, happy medium is stuff we remember forever. Think of the original Star Wars movies, or the first Matrix movie. The Star Wars prequels were overdone to the point where the human elements looked out of place in the fake world. A lot of movies that mimic the Matrix’s “bullet time” go overboard…
