“In early 1985, Chu, then 24 years old, took 11 members of his family hostage in his home in Oakland and was reported to have been beating some with his fists. Chu fired a .38 pistol at one police officer who came to investigate, but missed. Police cordoned off a ten-block area for three hours. Chu eventually released his hostages and surrendered to the police.”
Why the hell is this guy not locked up in a hospital somewhere.
I had hoped on my last trip to S.F. that I and my family would see this guy so we could invite him to lunch. He may or may not be a good dining companion, but I am sure it would be a memorable meal.
31 years in TV in San Francisco. I have seen it all. Three times.
We news photographers all know Frank well, and really like him. He gets plenty of attention from us, and we take care of him. Since we have to deal with the politicians, cops, criminals, lawyers, and gay activists here, Frank is a breath of fresh air. At least he believes what he says.
All the TV photographers love Frank.
You Internet guys are late to this party.
Do any of YOU have a nightclub named after yourselves? Do any of you have several people dress up as YOU during Halloween? No? Then keep trying, and don’t belittle what you don’t understand.
Makes perfect sense to me.
He must be waring a disguise because he reminds me of an old hippy I once new. Except he talks a lot faster.
Let me guess…….He is a teabagger right?
I like the DV/steetspot. Though for personal pertection you might want to carry a small can of Lysol.
John, John, John… You ‘eastbayers’ just don’t understand the real threats to our way of life!
This guy would be perfect for the new “Extraterrestrial Aliens” Czar position, since he already knows all our secrets.
What the hell was that!
art bell’s next guest?
looks like we’re going to need a bigger roll of tinfoil

He’s on speed.
Frank Chu is actually rather famous in S.F.
Reminds of the last time I was in San Francisco. Thanks for the memories.
I think I passed that guy in the street today. I avoided all eye contact.
Is that Adam behind those FosterGrants?

Is this what Curry considers the base listener for his podcasts?

I am glad he is in San Francisco instead of my home town.

Isn’t that the guy from the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy? If the guy starts wiggling his thumb, I’d start to freak out.
