    So malware will be the excuse they’ll use to bring back hardware monitoring stuff like cpu id bradcasting. Will people be stupid enough these days to allow what was decried & prevented years ago? YES!

    BTW John, I know not many people are aware or even care about this but there’s a piece of internet history that will cease to exist: AOL is about to kill Compuserve Classic in about a month or so and will give its customers a new free pop mail, not sure if they’ll retain their addresses. They told their customers “if you need dial-up service, go somwhere else”
