I would be very, very concerned if we started treating Octomom and her like as "business as usual". Holding up the Octomom for all to see helps society to right itself. Like with Colbert and Steward, sometimes the best medicine is holding up the mirror of absurdity and letting us all take a long look. I, for one, am glad to see this play being produced.
