    We panic because the Bush Administration practiced it for almost eight years as the way to control the population.

    How many people forgot about watching your neighbor for suspicious activity? Or being afraid to receive your mail? Or dark skinned, unknown people carrying cameras? Or Alert Colors? Or only non Americans don’t wear lapel Flag pins?

    So tell me, how else should the media have responded?

    Just like I predicted 2 days ago the disscusion of the over hype would begin. What we really need to worry about is this fall when it returns stronger.

    and learn exactly what strain, it’s genealogy and resistances etc is being found and where,

    note: this is geeky stuff. any virologists in the crowd may find it more useful than the average joe.

    it is the place to go to find the “real data” data on confirmed cases though.
