    #38 I agree, its seems relevant to the mystical experience some claim…in that regard its fascinating.

    In case any are wondering, the Christian born again experience is nothing like that…its a perception of change in one’s center, of being new, having “new” interests, new motives…a “new creature”…

    Re 40, 41 I feel compelled to explain the contrast…#40 is a response to those who bully others into silence via ridicule, slander and abuse…

    If the ridicule of my God and me were against me, I’d turn the other cheek.

    But its meant to silence me, or make others less receptive to any truth I might utter.

    Therefore I don’t turn the other cheek…

    But it doesn’t mean I don’t pray for such misguided individuals.

    I would gladly return to civil discourse if they repented of nefarious anti free speech
    strategies.
