South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford says an extramarital affair is behind his unexplained disappearance.

At a news conference Wednesday afternoon, he admitted he’s been unfaithful to his wife with a friend from Argentina.

Sanford says he and his family have been working through the affair for about the last five months.

He apologized to his wife, kids and staff after his mystery trip to Argentina.

He says, “I’ve let down a lot of people.”

He says he spent the last 5 days in Argentina “crying a lot”.

Sanford also resigned as chairman of the Republican Governors Association, but when asked if he’d resign as governor of South Carolina, he did not respond.

Har!

I don’t have the time or the need to compile a list of democrat losers. I disdain all politicians with equal verve.

The sooner you understand it’s not democrat versus republican but politicians versus the people the sooner your IQ will rise 20 points.

  2. Phydeau says:

When Republicans do wrong, the wingnuts here take a brief break from their constant bashing of liberals and Democrats, proclaim to disdain all politicians, then resume their constant bashing of liberals and Democrats.

Guys… who do you think you’re fooling? Besides the man in the mirror, I mean.

What a wonderful talent you have in knowing nothing about anything. It’s a shame mindless fool doesn’t pay very well.

    #81, ‘tempt,

Just to further Phydeau in #82, it is really funny to see how all these Republicans abandoned their party after the Bush debacle.

    >>it is really funny to see how all these Republicans abandoned their party after the Bush debacle.

At least I am not a slave to the socialist Democrat Party who are nothing but a bunch of whores who have sold their body, soul and country to the personal whims of the Obamanation.

In about another 6-12 months you will be begging for the return of all three, but by then it will be too late.

…or maybe he wasn’t in Argentina at all?
If someone holds a gun to your head (or targets those you love) you’d pretty much say or admit to anything.

For a man with his money and position how hard was it to have even few “argentinian friends” and keep it under cover?
    LOL
    Gimme a break.

I’m not saying its impossible, but he would have to be a total super idiot being a Governor to “disappear” like that to some “friend in Argentina” and for that long, and think it won’t come out! Do any of you really think he wanted to commit political career suicide in such laughable way? I doubt that.
This stinks and should have Bullshit Meter on it.

But no matter what really have happened, obviously now he will not oppose *anything*
    - and THAT was the point of this whole bullshit.
