You’re kidding right? I would have thought was blindingly obvious.
Two words: Goldman Sachs.
Two more words: Trading programs.
“The bank has raised the possibility that there is a danger that somebody who knew how to use this program could use it to manipulate markets in unfair ways,” Facciponti said, according to a recording of the hearing made public yesterday.
Maybe I read that statement wrong. Isn’t Goldman Sachs admitting to using programs used to manipulate the markets?

Good podcast.
The markets are being manipulated.
The federal government is being run by the blind and corrupt.
California is being run by the corrupt and the blind with a large elite liberal population who hate business and are doing a great job of ruining the local economy.
I think the real question should be, “When was there a time went the Stock Market wasn’t being manipulated?”. By its very nature, it’s set up to be manipulated. And any time this was lessened, in some fashion. These rules and safe guards were whittled away at, until they were once more, non-effective. That’s how this mortgage mess came about. The rules put in back in the 30s (post Depression), got canceled out by Congressmen working for those Wall Street manipulators.
I don’t care about this article. I would like to point out that the roller coaster in this picture is the Lochness Monster, Busch Gardens – Williamsburg Virginia. I would like to pat myself on the back for identifying it. This was my first roller coaster ride ever.

Do you really need to ask that question ? The Market has been manipulated since it’s founding in 1792 !!! Sharp operators have been angling to STEAL SINCE THE BEGINNING !!! A FOOL AND HIS MONEY ARE SOON PARTED – EVEN ON WALL ST !!!
