WASHINGTON (Reuters) – All U.S. children aged 6 months to 18 years should get a seasonal influenza vaccine every year, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Friday.
The CDC’s Dr. Anne Schuchat said the agency was strengthening recommendations for children to get the vaccination against seasonal influenza, especially with fears that the new H1N1 virus will be added to the already expected burden of seasonal flu.
Why, when the police raid a house to deport an illegal alien, with a search warrant in hand, they are being overly aggressive. Yet if the police arrest an elderly black man who requires a cane, in his own home, they are just doing their job?

Okay, it’s time for you vaccine loving dummies to look at some real data instead of just mouthing off your stupidity. Swine flu is just another scam to make money for Big Pharma and politicians and put gawd knows what in the vaccines. We actually DON’T know what’s in the vaccines or how effective they are because the FDA is not even forcing real testing of the vaccines and Obama’s bogus Sec of Health will not allow us to sue vaccine makers. So less than 1000 people have died world wide from this alleged pandemic. How many THOUSANDS of people die every year in this country from regular flu? This is a OBVIOUSLY a manufactured crisis, just as swine flu was back in the 70s. Every 20 years or so the connected pols and their pharma buddies test the waters of international stupidity and credulity by creating a fake flu epidemic which then requires massive and expensive amounts of vaccine to be created (which also inflates the stock prices of the companies involved). During the Ford presidency, the last time this swine flu scam arose, many people were sickened or died BECAUSE OF THE VACCINE, and the program was stopped. This is just a massive SCAM.
On a personal level I have never gotten a flu shot and never will. I’ve had flu a couple of times – it’s miserable but for most people it’s no big deal. However, I have seen, as obviously others have, that people, mostly elderly people I have known, who get the annual shot….COME DOWN SICK WITH THE FLU RIGHT AFTERWARDS. Even when nobody else seems to be getting sick. Yeah, i know this is “anecdotal” evidence, but there are a hell of a LOT of anecdotes out there with the same results. For me, the very concept of a flu vaccine is ludicrous as flu mutates so much, how can they create a vaccine from prior years’ bugs that will fight a bug that has already mutated into another strain?????
Moreover, while I’m not against the concept of vaccines in general, I don’t like how they have evolved over the past 30 years or so. We vaccinate children in particular, at too young an age, and we vaccinate them for far too many things at one time, which I believe overwhelms their immune and nervous systems. What, you say? Doctors know best? Not always – medicine is an on-going process of discovery and what was once the paradigm of medical treatment will frequently go by the wayside in the next generation. Many of you are aware of the great battle in the 19th century simply to get doctors who had been handling corpses to wash their hands before they delivered babies! This seems obvious, but many many women died from puerperal fever as a result of this unhygienic behavior from doctors, and they pilloried the man who first suggested this. Doctors and scientists are frequently wrong – we should not hold them up to any god like status.
So if you dummies want to go get your vaccines like good little sheep, and help Big Pharma and their pol & medical buddies get richer, be my guest. But, I will not…even at the point of a gun. We’ve got to start showing some principles here.
