Shadows in general look like the light source (that solar system bright spot known as the Sun) is at about 9 o'clock, maybe 9:30, but the shadow behind the monolith would tell you about 7 o'clock. So the monolith is about 2 hours early. If the photo was taken on Italian Mars, the monolith is 22 hours late. If I have to decide in a minute, I’d say fake.
