Talk about a political draft. In an interview with World Net Daily, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) was asked whether she would ever run for President — and she replied that she would do it if God calls her to it:
“If I felt that’s what the Lord was calling me to do, I would do it,” she answered. “When I have sensed that the Lord is calling me to do something, I’ve said yes to it. But I will not seek a higher office if God is not calling me to do it. That’s really my standard.
“If I am called to serve in that realm I would serve,” she concluded, “but if I am not called, I wouldn’t do it.”
How about the Bachmann/Palin dream team?!
#140 I have no idea where Bachman stands on the issues…my only objection was the equivocation fallacy used against her.
Saying, as did many founding fathers, the wisdom of God in one’s decisions is actively sought, something I believe is asked for at the opening of every congress, is somehow listening to voices, is smear.
Obama sat in a church where he applauded similar speech for 20 years, yet no blog blasting him exists.
So you are all smearing a candidate for reasons not stated in the blog…using contrived reasons.

There is no doubt in my mind you democrats are budding Nazis…and the gas chambers are coming, for folks like me.
But Obamageddon—the devastation of our economy being the natural result of marxist plans and rhetoric of Obama & crew, is already swinging the pendulum back to our founding fathers…
More people identify themselves as conservatives today, than liberal…If that keeps up, we will have our country back in 2012….
Comrade Obama & crew hope the poverty they caused will transform us into Cubans, grasping for crumbs and thankful for all we get…I think not…the tradition of freedom in this country runs deep…
Those who are content with a check, are in the minority. It was either you or Bobbo who cried out “we have needs”…and so you would sell your soul for whoever promised to supply them…but the majority love freedom…and don’t want to be dependent upon Government…we rather work, and get our own…
As FDR said, but misunderstood it, “necessitous men are not free.” Being dependent upon Government, is being crippled, not free.
