Lets see. the odds of the shot causing problems in EACH person is ??.
We know that its 0.57%(?) death rate in Nations that have CHEAP health care services.
Which would mean that about 1.5 million people COULD DIE.
Even if Adverse reactions in .01% of the population. 3,000,000 people would STILL be 300. or 1 in 10,000.

Is it ironic how Congress can’t decide on any kind of National (Public?) Health Care system? Or reforms of the messed up private one that exists today? But they can approve of funds to save the vaccine industry, easily enough. And I think this is a huge scare story, to do just that. Because it has to be the most amazing coincidence that the H1N1 flu showed up, just after the economy started seriously hurting. People losing their jobs, taking local vacations. And yet, somehow this virus spread all over the world from Mexico, in very little time. Did it have some help, on purpose?

This and other Gov. funded programs are all about protecting the bottom line of the major stockholders and CEOs, who have the ear of Congress. Stocks in Banking, Auto Sales, and the Medical industry, have benefited. And these are all bandaid fixes for what’s really wrong with these. But if props up the old way they continue to do business, so their major stockholders can count on another year of profits. The Gov. ought to label these, “Bucks for Billionaires”, because that’s where it all eventually ends up.

Not dumb thinking on their part.

The Hippocratic Oath

I swear by Apollo Physician and Asclepius and Hygieia and Panaceia and all the gods, and goddesses, making them my witnesses, that I will fulfil according to my ability and judgment this oath and this covenant:

To hold him who has taught me this art as equal to my parents and to live my life in partnership with him, and if he is in need of money to give him a share of mine, and to regard his offspring as equal to my brothers in male lineage and to teach them this art–if they desire to learn it–without fee and covenant; to give a share of precepts and oral instruction and all the other learning to my sons and to the sons of him who has instructed me and to pupils who have signed the covenant and have taken the oath according to medical law, but to no one else.

I will apply dietic measures for the benefit of the sick according to my ability and judgment; I will keep them from harm and injustice.

I will neither give a deadly drug to anybody if asked for it, nor will I make a suggestion to this effect. Similarly I will not give to a woman an abortive remedy. In purity and holiness I will guard my life and my art.

I will not use the knife, not even on sufferers from stone, but will withdraw in favor of such men as are engaged in this work.

Whatever houses I may visit, I will come for the benefit of the sick, remaining free of all intentional injustice, of all mischief and in particular of sexual relations with both female and male persons, be they free or slaves.

What I may see or hear in the course of treatment or even outside of the treatment in regard to the life of men, which on no account one must spread abroad, I will keep myself holding such things shameful to be spoken about.

One might even consider printing out a more current version, The Oath of Lasagna, which was written in 1964 by Louis Lasagna, Academic Dean of the School of Medicine at Tufts University, it is perhaps the one most commonly used in today’s medical schools. Like the other versions, it stresses on the importance of “treating patients as human beings and not medical cases”.
