Hilarious, couldn’t stop laughing.
Seems pretty silly to publish this crap when the reviews are really quite excellent for the new release, except for PC World (duh).
I’d call this thread a waste of time.
Oh, and unlike noname, I didn’t laugh once … and I’m not even a mac zealot.
At least the puppet did manage to notice that a release that tightens up the code base is something that would never occur to the folks at picoflaccid.

MScott, I also couldn’t stop laughing. Of course I’ll laugh at practically, anything… but then… I did wonder if it really was as bad as he said or if he was just being a Microbrain.
Thanks to your link, I see now that he was talking out of his puckered orifice. LIES! … ALL LIES! Come to think of it, if I had read the real reviews first, I probably wouldn’t have laughed.

I couldn’t get past the crappy john wayne imitation. It could have been entertaining otherwise.
It was like I was watching the real Mossberg.
Remember apple fanboys, its not a bug, its a feature.
Funny is not the term I would describe the clip. Instead, the video is better labeled: Mossberg Uncensored. Because if you take out the few glitches that Walt would never mention anyway, this video is probably representative of a Mossberg review of any Apple product.
Q: Why did you upgrade to ‘Snow Leopard”?
A: Because…. duhhhhh… because… it is so great… it is 64bit, so I can run my programs faster, like iTunes can play my songs faster, and I can write my novel faster… and duuuuuh… hmmmm… and other great stuff…

If you don’t like the Walt Mossberg muppet do your own damn muppet video. If you are cheap you can use a sock with googly eyes pasted on.
I thought it was as much a poke at Mossburg as Apple and of course all those ultra fair apple commercials. It was funny.
I did note the jab about running Windows. I have a couple of friends that tell everybody to buy a mac because of all the cool software.
It does come with some very nice free presentation software they rarely use.
Then they spend most of their time running windows and very little time running the cool software.
For some reason that does not compute to me: sorry.
I thought it was very funny. If you listen to Walt enough over time and read his columns you would notice as I have that he is a bit biased towards Apple products. I have heard him give some negative reviews about Apple products. One comes to mind was MobileMe which was so buggy when it came out Walt actually could not say it was worth it.

Just the term, “Apple Fanboys” is hilarious. If I liked Apples, I would be pissed off every time I was referred to as an “Apple Fanboy”. The image I have is a guy with tight shorts, and shirts open to the navel. If only Apple owners were not so damn obnoxious. I was present when the iPhone was initially released, because I work for the news. I had to be there. It was like the damn Scientologists for Christ’s sake. They were chanting, “iPhone, iPhone” over and over. Really weird.
