I'm not "defending" anything here, but the lack of proper scientific procedure behind a so-called "study" that is being reported worldwide is really pushing my buttons. If the cell phones are causing the die-off, what about the UHF broadcasters we used to have that pumped out 10,000 watts on the same frequency? This is ridiculous. Back in the late 70'2 and early 80's prior to the development boom there were plenty of bees around; all sorts actually. We use to go scouting for bumblebee hives when we were kids. There were quite many of them around parks and such. Now with buildings everywhere they're almost completely gone. I've yet to see a single bumblebee yet. But then same goes for birds as well, and the river has shrunk so animals there are dying off. Oh well, all for the sake of progress I guess. Yay!
