If you want to see the Monopoly competition buildings on your iPhone in 3D, you can do so with NaviCAD (http://www.navicad.com). Just type in "monopolycompetition09" in the search interface and tap a result. Note that NaviCAD is only a viewing/navigating app. Any suggestions are welcome--send an email to feedback@navicad.com.

thanks, Chuck Han (one of the NaviCAD developers)

I am just wondering when people will figure out that THIS IS NOT A F^CKING GOOGLE endeavor! Christ. There are a thousand apps out there that use Google maps, and that is all this game is doing.. using Google maps... Hasbro is the entity behind it... they even said "Google has nothing to do with this game, other than letting us use their maps".

This will be good. Young Microsoft haters are gonna get a kick(in the nuts) out of this. Those of us old enough to see this cycle go around a few times should see what is comming.

This is the beginning of the end of Google. In Less than 10 years, here is a company that rose to industry dominance, and now they have lost focus, and have been unable to exand out of their core competence, and now they will fade. In the next couple of years they will cede their role to Microsoft as that company for all the ways it lacks greatness, it does it in a very consistent game. Get in second place and stay there until the leader falters, then they win. This is how Microsoft defeated, IBM, Ashton Tate, Borland, and Apple. (I probably missed a few other companies they felled) Google is obviously next.

How long until it gets hacked and some guy living in his mom's basement ends up owning the world?

Will it follow the Monopoly game rules closely? In the game, a roll of the dice determines who will land on your property. It would be interesting to see what city-planning effect there would be. i.e. If I build a football stadium on my street, will it affect the value of the football stadium on the next street?
