I heard your comment on TWIT, where you favor a single-payer plan. This was somewhat of a shock to me, since I would have assumed that you agree with me that the govt already runs too much (poorly). Have your heard of this proposal?

None of them do what you say “your bill” will not do, they all result in bankrupting America, and cause rationing in health care that will prove injurious to the elderly, if not deadly.

Not one of them will increase the supply of Doctors and hospitals…indeed, many doctors say they will stop practicing medicine in America.

“You lie” Mr. President…the only reason you are for health care, is because know history of Government run programs…they break the bank…

And Saul Alinsky’s strategy for bring America down, was to flood the Government with dependents…overwhelm Government programs by ensuring all eligible, collect.

I really shouldn’t think the worst of him.

And I would stop doing so if his policies allowed it.

Compared to the sixties and the Weathermen, some of which are now supporting Obama, the modern day opposition seems to be able to show up in the tens of thousands, have a rally and go home without anyone being arrested.

I think the elitist media is confusing these people with the way they and their friends used to act in their younger days antiwar days when you had to call out the national guard to keep the crowds from burning the place down. Not the same crowd at all.

By the way Obama was clearly singing to the home team. He didn’t go on Fox and that means he decided to give more than half the viewers a pass.

My best guess is he’s hoping to get enough bluedogs to commit political suicide to pass something their constituents don’t want.

As far a Obama:

It sounds like a very half heated commitment on his part. How could he be so clueless to think voiceturious objections wouldn’t happen? He after-all left the process as open to interpretation as much as possible.

Second, using Lincoln as an example could be interpreted as veiled innuendo that there might be a civil war.

Third, yes the demonstrations are about taxes and the economy in addition to making the government less of a corrupt monstrosity. I’m glad to see you’ve pulled your head out a little bit.

The media’s favorite stage is #3 since they don’t have to worry about gathering facts or information – they just put the talking-heads on TV and let the mud fly.

We’re now at stage 3 for the health-care story. There is no more news about health-care or health insurance or health-care “reform”. And now that both sides have called each other Nazis there’s no need to do “reaction” stories.

Now we can look forward to several weeks of the media interviewing other media “experts” to discuss how the coverage of the story has affected the outcome.
