The fact that John knows of Steam Punk culture enough to post a picture with a title as such makes this picture that much better. Great shot.

5. Yup. Government high school will do that to kids. Just another example of socialist indoctrination camps destroying the lives of young people. Hey, maybe they just need an extra Obama motivational speech to set them straight.

#5 - As a child we use to smash pennies on the railroad track. Maybe these students were Polish and didn't realize they have to take them out of their pocket.

#5, Jimmy,

Well thank you for bringing that to our attention. Without reading your link, since you don't tell us what is in it, were these students all run over by steam trains?

I look at this and only see death.

"four students at Palo Alto's Henry M. Gunn High School have committed suicide in a similar fashion since May, and officials aren't sure what is causing the disturbing trend."

Best pic yet! -nice detail.

back in the late 60's early 70's my dad used to take me on a few nostalgic steam locomotives in New Jersey in the summer..

This resulted in him building a huge, highly detailed N Class "steam world" in the spare bedroom in the penthouse we lived in on 308 W 30th in the city.

Hand painted, custom controllers, the works. that led the way to building wood RC PT Boats and subs from scratch to taunt the RC Sailboat guys at the Sailboat pond in Central Park.

Fun times for a sub 9 to 12 yr old. (even more fun when he actually let *me* play with it...lol)

Whats the saying? "The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys"

-thanks for tripping up my memory. completely forgot about all that..
