House Republicans have a new foreign policy adviser with a controversial pedigree: Oliver North.
North, an aide on Ronald Reagan’s National Security Council who is best known for his role in the Iran-Contra scheme to sell arms to Iran and divert the funds to Nicaraguan revolutionaries in the 1980s, was the special guest at a House Republican Conference meeting on Tuesday. North was convicted on three counts related to the Iran-Contra scandal and his efforts to cover it up, but the convictions were later overturned.
Republican Conference Chairman Mike Pence of Indiana and Rep. Buck McKeon (R-Calif.), who is the top Republican on the Armed Services Committee, joined forces to issue the invitation to North.
“Col. North is someone who enjoys the very broad respect of the House Republican Conference,” Pence said.
The libs keep brow-beating us with how the Republican party is dead and buried, yet they continue to find so much satisfaction in humping a dead horse.
Sure is interesting how the libs bring this up now. But hey, anything goes when they need a distraction to take attention away from the colossal failure that is the Barack Hussein Obama administration.

I like Ollie North. He is a very dedicated and loyal American. He never seems to waver on what he stands for. That’s more then I can say for many in Congress.
Actually, as strange as it may sound, this might work.
Republican hiring policy: preferably white, some military background, religious but without any morality.
Democrat hiring policy: preferably white, previously employed by Goldman-Sachs or BoA, must have never paid taxes.

Iran had American hostages. Iran was at war with Iraq. Ollie sends massive weapons shipment to Iran to trade for hostages and secure republican presidency. Iraq slams two missiles into the USS Stark killing 27. North is no hero.

Old Ollie has been surviving on hand outs via newsletters. My elderly father use to get them all the time. In the last year of his life, I withheld his “junk mail” from North, to keep him from sending him any more $20s. Imagine such a scumbag who picks the tiny purses of aging and addled republicans, for his own comfort. He really has no shame, ya know.
