Saudi Arabia is a criminal state and this nation is spreading radical Islam worldwide.

Also, September 11th was a terrorist attack which was mainly done by Saudi Arabians.

BTW, I, for one, would NOT like to see the Middle East obliterated, I find much to enjoy there (especially Egypt) and have many friends throughout the area. I would like, however, to see Islam removed from the face of the earth. Along with Christianity and all other religions. Yes, anti-pedophilia is the religious fundamentalism of the West. If this guy did what he was accused of doing, it’s not something anyone can defend. But the truth of the matter is people like that are exceptions of the exceptions. Yet attitudes that call for the hanging of “child rapists” will be applied to people who do not rape, maybe do not even touch children. When Obama stood during the election campaign and declared it reasonable to execute child rapists, he was defending a law that made it legal to execute men who downloaded pictures or met with cops at Burger King in an online sting.

Oh, I hate to be serious about such things but I’m afraid you’re quite wrong. The best example is how much capitol crime was committed at the public executions in the medieval era.

Two points. First, criminals do crimes and take precautions believing they won’t be caught. There are very few deterrents that will overcome that concept. (Remember that the next time you are speeding and you see a cop) Any criminal committing a crime with the intent of being caught deserves to be put in an asylum.

Second, while I acknowledge your intent, using a semi anarchistic time period such as the Medieval Ages is a non-starter. Murder was quite common, the Judiciary was totally corrupt, and torture was the common method of extracting a confession.

And those were crimes of avarice, too. When you hit the subject of crimes like baby rape, you’re talking about some serious psychological shit. (Pardon me for using medical jargon.) Someone who’s psyche demands he rape children of that age is not giving in to a suppressible sexual urge but to a much deeper and darker need.
